For the few people taking the time to read this, a round of applause for committing to the conference tournament futures. Stephen F. Austin is not eligible for the postseason and would have been the two seed. Abilene Christian (-200) is the favorite, but has no chance at an at-large. This conference tournament is staggered with byes every round. Abilene Christian and Nicholls St. have byes to the semis.
Not that they are without impact players, but Joe Golding, coach of Abilene Christian, deserves praise for his season in the Southland. They have a full and complete team and are the best team in this field. I think they are vastly superior to any other team in this conference. I am saving time and not throwing in the general “Kings of the Conference” and “Potential Killers” sections. I will not be laying the -200 juice so I will be staying away. I do like Sam Houston St (+350) and I will be looking to fade Nicholls St (+225) in their semifinal game.
